Sirona Capital expands Real Estate headcount as project construction starts
Perth (1 July 2015): Perth-based private equity and advisory firm Sirona Capital has confirmed two key appointments to the company’s Real Estate business.

Sirona Capital managing director and Head of Real Estate Matthew McNeilly said Jonny Sheldrick had been confirmed as Consulting Development Manager and James Kemp as Consulting Construction Manager, with both appointments coinciding with the start of construction at two of Sirona’s key projects in Fremantle.

“Construction at the Heirloom heritage warehouse apartment project and the development of a 122 room Quest apartment hotel at Pakenham Street kicks off what we expect to be a busy period of project delivery for Sirona,” Mr McNeilly said.

“As well as playing pivotal roles in partnership with our builders to deliver these complex and landmark projects, Jonny and James will be ensuring these projects also meet investor expectations.

“Sirona Capital’s Real Estate business is focused on unlocking and creating significant value through rigorously tested investment themes, opportunistically acquiring and then proactively developing and managing real estate investments to ensure profitable and successful outcomes.

Jonny Sheldrick brings solid project delivery capability to Sirona. Most recently he managed his own project management consulting services to property development companies in Western Australia’s rapidly expanding tourism and mixed-use projects in Newman, Carnarvon and Onslow. Prior to that he delivered a complex tourism project in Busselton and worked at Clough’s property development division in Victoria before transferring to WA to help deliver the Saint Quentin’s luxury apartment project in Claremont. Jonny started his career within Multiplex’s Development division, working as an Assistant Development Manager on the Raffles Waterfront Project.

James Kemp is a highly skilled and well regarded construction manager with more than 20 years’ experience in the construction industry managing large commercial and resource-related construction projects in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland for government, private and public companies in the commercial, retail, civil, resource, defence and health sectors.
