Apartment giant Quest officially opened its Fremantle project last week, adding 122 apartment type rooms to the WA market.

Developed by Sirona Capital, Quest Fremantle’s apartments at Pakenham Street have studio, one and two-bedroom apartments.

The property also includes an on-site gymnasium, conference room and rooftop terrace.

Quest Fremantle will be run by franchisees Bram Newbold and Byron McDonald.

The property, the 12th project for Quest in WA, was opened by Fremantle mayor Brad Pettitt, former Fremantle
Dockers captain Peter Bell and Fremantle AFL Women’s star Kirby Bentley.

Dr Pettitt said Quest Fremantle was a welcome addition to the city’s accommodation portfolio.

“Fremantle’s reputation as one of the most vibrant destination cities in the world has gained a lot of traction in recent years,” he said.
“Ensuring visitors to Freo have access to high-quality accommodation options, such as Quest, is critical to keeping this momentum going.”

Quest director of group operations Cameron Stewart said the opening of the hotel continued Quest’s assertive growth strategy in the WA market, helping to meet continually increasing demands for premium accommodation
for the business traveller sector.

The opening of Quest Fremantle comes after the opening of properties in East Perth, Mounts Bay Road and West Perth last year.

New properties will open at Midland and Innaloo this year.

Once complete, that will bring the number of WA rooms operated by Quest to 790.
