David McMahon

David joined SIRONA CAPITAL in late 2009 following a career in senior finance and commercial roles.

David held the role of Chief Financial Officer of the public listed Iluka Resources (2007-2008). Prior to that David was Chief Financial Officer of Wesfarmers Energy Limited (2004-2006), a division of the public listed Wesfarmers Limited. Wesfarmers Energy held the coal, LPG, LNG power and industrial gas assets of Wesfarmers.

David worked in senior corporate finance and merger and acquisition roles for Normandy Mining Ltd, based in Perth, Sydney and Adelaide (1987-2005).

David is a Director of the unlisted Wright Prospecting Pty Ltd, AMB Holdings Pty Ltd and Kuruma Marthudunera Ltd.

Recent transactions of note have included:

• Lead advisor for Apex Minerals NL on the A$62.5 million bond issue in 2008; and

• Lead advisor to AMB Holdings Pty Ltd in relation to its iron ore assets.

David has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Western Australia and is a qualified accountant.
